Get Likes for Your Story
Invite your friends to view and like your story. The number of likes will help determine the winners.
The contest is open to anyone 18 years of age or older, from any country, state, or province where participation is not prohibited or restricted by law.
What format should stories follow in the contest?
Stories can be real or fictional and must be told in 5 to 25 events. Each event should include an image, a title, and a short text.
What kind of photos are allowed?
All images that are personally owned photographs or AI-generated are allowed. Enhancements using AI tools are acceptable.
What topics can I submit?
Any topic meaningful to you—childhood memories, travel, personal achievements, family history, etc.
How can I submit my timeline?
Once your timeline is complete, click the “Enter the Contest” tab on the timeline card. Be sure to read the contest rules before submitting.
Can I edit my timeline after submitting?
No edits can be made after submission. However, during the submission period, you may withdraw your timeline, make changes, and submit it again.
How can I withdraw my timeline?
Click the "In the Story Contest" tab on the timeline card and confirm that you want to withdraw it.
How will winners be judged?
Timelines will be judged by ByTimeline’s committee based on the following criteria:
- Storytelling: 40%
- Visual Appeal: 40%
- Originality: 20%
- Grand Prize: $100
- Runner-Up: $50
- Up to 10 Honorable Mentions: $20 each
When will winners be announced?
A list of winners will be published on the ByTimeline website within 15 days after the contest ends. Winners will also be notified by email.
Are there any disqualification rules?
Yes. Entries containing plagiarized content or offensive, inappropriate, or harmful material will be disqualified. Timelines that violate the platform’s community guidelines or submission rules may also be removed at any time.

1. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
It is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including specific countries, states, or provinces that do not allow participation in such contests.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, or sibling) of the Contest Sponsor are not eligible to participate.
2. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins on June, 16, 2025 at 8:00AM EST and ends on July 15, 2025 at 11:59PM EST (“Contest Period”). All entries must be received by the end of the Contest Period.
3. HOW TO ENTER
Participants must submit a timeline with original or AI-generated photographs/images on a topic meaningful to them, such as childhood memories, travel, personal achievements, family history, or creative storytelling. Entries must be submitted via ByTimeline during the Contest Period. Unlimited entries per person are allowed.
4. ENTRY GUIDELINES
All entries must:
- Be original or personally owned content (including AI-generated images);
- Not contain offensive, defamatory, or plagiarized content;
- Comply with applicable laws and the platform’s rules.
Once submitted, entries cannot be modified or edited unless withdrawn by the entrant.
5. JUDGING CRITERIA
Eligible entries will be judged based on the following:
- Originality: 20%
- Storytelling: 40%
- Visual Appeal: 40%
Judging may also include input from a panel vote, audience engagement (e.g., likes), and an internal AI-assisted assessment (non-public). Final decisions are at the discretion of the Contest Sponsor.
6. PRIZES
- Grand Prize (1 winner): $100 USD
- Runner-Up (1 winner): $50 USD
- Up to 10 Honorable Mentions: $20 each
Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION
A list of winners will be published on the ByTimeline website within 15 days after the contest ends. Winners will also be notified by email. Winners may be required to complete and return an eligibility affidavit, liability release, and where lawful, a publicity release. Failure to respond within 5 days may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
8. RIGHTS GRANTED
By entering, participants grant the Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publicly display their submitted content for promotional purposes related to the Contest, with credit where appropriate.
9. DISQUALIFICATION
Entries may be disqualified for containing offensive, inappropriate, or plagiarized material, or for failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries; technical malfunctions; or other issues beyond its control. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or related to participation in the Contest or acceptance of any prize.
